The US States Department Spokesperson Methew Millar states that the Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Assian Affairs Donald Lu' will apprear on hearing before congress panel that is going to be held on 20th March and the appearance to congress is usual and part of routine

The US Spokesperson has further cleared that the Donald Lu's appearance to congress is usual and part of the routine as it is the regular practise of US Officials to give update to congress and it is helpful for congress in policymaking. He further added we always look forward for any informal, formal conversation and any kind of evidance that are provieded to congress.

On 20 March the House Subcomitte of Middle Eeast, Affrica and Central Asia are going to hold a hearing and the agenda of hearing will be "The Future of Democracy in Pakistan after 8 Feb Elections and US-PAK Relationship"

Methew Millar was asked are you concerend about the safety threats to Donal Lu' Methew said of course we always take the safety and security of our offical diplomates very seriously

Methew Further said the the allegations against Donald Lu' to destablize the PTI Government is false stating “The underlying allegations against Assistant Secretary Lu, they’re false. They’ve always been false. You’ve heard me say that more than once, more than twice, more than ten times probably.”

PTI and his Leader Imran Khan has previously claimed that it is a conspiracy backed by US for regim change. they claimed that Donald Lu', Assistant Secretary of US Official state has threatend in a meeting with then-Pakistan Embassador Asad Majeed Khan in Washington to destablize the PTI Govern

This issue has been raised many times from both sides Pakistan and US journalists and From US side there is a consistantly refusal of these allegations and said that these allegations are baseless and false.
