The spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that Beijing believes sending additional troops to India's disputed border "is not conducive to reducing tensions." This assertion comes in response to several media reports suggesting that India has deployed a contingent of 10,000 troops to its disputed border with China, which were previously stationed along its western border.

Both countries have agreed to maintain dialogue through military and diplomatic channels to keep communication open, with China and India recently holding a constructive meeting to address border issues in the western part of their boundary.

According to Indian media reports, New Delhi has deployed 10,000 troops from its western border to secure its 532-kilometer-long border with China, connecting Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh states.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Hua Chunying, reiterated China's commitment to working with India to safeguard peace and stability in border areas, stating, "We understand that India's approach does not contribute to maintaining peace and reducing tensions."

Chunying further emphasized that the increase in Indian military deployments in border areas does not help calm the situation or maintain peace and security in these regions.
