Pakistan's newly elected President, Asif Zardari, will take the oath in the presidential palace tomorrow.

After taking the oath, Asif Zardari will assume the position of the country's 14th president. Asif Zardari, the candidate of the ruling coalition, successfully won the presidential election for the second time.

National Assembly Results:

In the presidential election, Asif Zardari received 255 votes from the Parliament House.

In contrast, Mahmood Achakzai received 119 votes from the Parliament House, while one vote was rejected. Asif Zardari, the candidate of the ruling coalition, won with a significant majority from the Punjab Assembly.

Punjab Assembly Results:

Asif Ali Zardari of the ruling coalition received 246 votes from the Punjab Assembly.

In contrast, the presidential candidate of the Sunni Ittehad Council, Mahmood Achakzai, managed to get 100 votes.

Asif Zardari's victory in the Assembly was celebrated with slogans of "Jeay Bhutto" (Long live Bhutto) echoing in the Punjab Assembly hall.

Balochistan Assembly Results:

Presiding Officer Justice Naheem Akhtar Afghan said that 47 votes were cast in favor of Asif Ali Zardari.

According to The World's Echo News, it was stated that a total of 62 members were to cast their votes, out of which 47 members cast their votes, while 15 members were absent.

It was further stated that all votes were valid, no vote was rejected, and Mahmood Khan Achakzai did not receive any votes from Balochistan.

The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam boycotted the presidential election, and their nine members did not cast their votes. Chief Minister Balochistan Sardar Akhtar Mengal said that Asif Zardari received 47 votes from the Balochistan Assembly.

While addressing a press conference, he said that Mahmood Khan Achakzai, the candidate of the Sunni Ittehad Council, did not receive any votes from the Balochistan Assembly.

The Chief Minister of Balochistan said that Asif Zardari has always given importance to Balochistan, and attention will continue to be paid to the issues of Balochistan in the future.

Sardar Akhtar Mengal said that Jamaat-e-Islami and the Haq Doo Tehreek were with us until late at night. After the decision of the central leadership, Jamaat-e-Islami and other parties decided not to cast their votes.

Sindh Assembly Results:

In the Sindh Assembly, the presidential candidate of the ruling coalition, Asif Zardari, received 151 votes.

According to Dawn News, 09 members of the assembly voted for Mahmood Achakzai, the candidate of the Sunni Ittehad Council, in the Sindh Assembly.

A total of 161 votes were cast in the presidential election in the Sindh Assembly, while one was rejected.

The final announcement of the presidential election results in the Sindh Assembly will be made by Presiding Officer Aqeel Abbasi.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Results

Mahmood Khan Achakzai received 91 votes from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, while Asif Ali Zardari received 17 votes.

According to Dawn News, a total of 109 votes were cast in the presidential elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while one vote was rejected.
