According to the international news agency Reuters, Nikki Haley, the former governor of South Carolina and former US ambassador to the United Nations, made the announcement on "Super Tuesday," one day after Donald Trump suffered a resounding defeat in 14 out of the 15 primaries held for the Republican nomination.

Haley stated, "The time has come for me to suspend my campaign; I have no regrets."

She suggested that Donald Trump might become the Republican nominee again, but she did not endorse the former president.

Haley emphasized that it is up to Donald Trump to garner votes from our party and other people, and she hopes he will do so.

Nikki Haley lingered longer than any other Republican contender against Donald Trump, but she never became a serious threat to the former president, despite facing multiple allegations, her party's grip remains strong.

The rematch between the 77-year-old Trump and 81-year-old Biden will be the first of its kind in American presidential history since 1956, reflecting low American appetite for change, evident from the public's lukewarm reception of both Biden and Trump.

Although Biden has some negative aspects, including concerns about his age, in a February Reuters survey, nearly half of respondents said that after completing his tenure as one of America's oldest serving presidents, he is too old to serve further. During the survey, almost half of the respondents expressed similar sentiments about Donald Trump.
