From a signature 140-character count, Twitter on Nov 17, 2017 officially expands it to 280. And now Twitter is considering to introduce a new ‘Edit’ feature for the Twitterati.
CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey said his social networking site is mulling a new feature that would let Twitter users edit their tweets, in an interview with Joe Rogan.
The firm was “looking at” letting users edit their tweets, while still keeping the original version of the post publicly viewable.
The reason editing tweets is not currently a feature is due to the fact that he and his fellow co-founders were “born on SMS”, Dorsey explained.
A new desktop version of Twitter is under test that lets users bookmark tweets and removes a column on the left that would show how many tweets and followers a person has.
